THE WORLD AGAINST ISRAEL

world against israelThrough political ploys, the Western world, especially the United States under President Barack Hussein Obama, is treating their ally Israel as an undesirable obstacle that needs to be obliterated in the near future through irrational concessions to an  Islamic culture bent on conquering not just Israel, but the free world. The Western’s selfish reliance on oil takes precedence over suppporting a country such as Israel against an Islamic culture whose profound hatred towards democratic values has no limits.

The likes of the U.N., the E.U. and the U.S. whose desire to satisfy the Arab world to the detriment of the only democratic country in the Middle East will undoubtedly lead to a clash of civilizations rightfully prophesied by Samuel Huntington. Stopping construction in Judea and Samaria so that ultimately a sovereign Palestinian state can surface on all land conquered by Israel from Jordan in 1967 is much more important that taking action against a nuclear Iran which represents the greatest and imminent danger to the world. I should emphasize that Jordan was controlling illegally the lands known as Judea and Samaria pre-1967, rather than a sovereign Palestinian state, since this state never existed.  Thus, the word “occupation” used ad nauseam by the world as a result of the successful Palestinian propaganda machinery to discredit Israel is a misnomer.

The Western world is actually pressuring Israel to share land with neighbors whose culture is the antithesis of freedom and Western values. Take as an example the use of the Palestinian television, teachers, textbooks, cartoons, music videos, sticker albums and summer camps to indoctrinate innocent Palestinian youth to hate Jews, and commit violence and suicide bombings. Just recently, it has been reported in August 24, 2009 the celebration of a massive wedding of 450 grooms in their mid-20′s with girls less than 10 years of age in Gaza. And let’s not ignore the honor killings and debasement of women in the Islamic world. The mantra voiced by the Western world to establish a Palestinian state that will “live side-by-side in peace and security alongside with Israel” is rewarding irrationality and is a catalyst for Muslim territorial expansionism with genocidal consequences not only for Israel, but for the world at large.

To add salt to the wound, the U.N. Human Rights Council, an utterly inefficient and apostate organization bent on the isolation and demonization of Israel, has recently disclosed the Goldstone report, a.k.a., a replica of the Durban I conference, whose deliberate 574-page report finds Israel guilty of crimes against humanity during the war against Hamas in Gaza while effectively giving Hamas a free pass. They even termed Hamas, who has a murderous covenant of death, as a “Palestinian armed organization,” and deliberately disregarded the fact that Israel’s operation was a defensive war to stop thousands of rockets against its civilians in the South.  In addition, this one-sided and hearsay-based paperwork failed to mention that Hamas used its civilian population as human shields. What would you expect of a Goldstone panel set up such pearls as Syria, Pakistan, Malaysia and Bangladesh?

It is plainly clear that the world is turning its back on Israel and looking into their own interest,  with a desire to provoke Israel’s alienation if not destruction; they are creating an unjust equivalence of a democratic state with a terror organization; however, this nefarious plot will undoubtedly rebound like a boomerang and encourage terrorist and jihadist entities throughout the globe to have free reign to pursue their murderous and theocratic vision of subjugating our freedom and liberty to a Jihadist and Islamic finale.

THE WORLD’S HIDDEN POLITICAL AGENDA WITH ISRAEL

stab in the backIt appears that peace in the Holy Land, above all other conflicts in the world, is at the heart of most anti-Semitic people in the world, including the Arabs, Europeans and recently Barack Hussein Obama’s new policies. You may wonder why so? The answer is very clear; a flimsy peace between Israel and the bogus Palestinians which would entail ejecting half a million Jews from their homes and forcing Israel to withdraw to indefensible borders, could answer their prayers of eventually obliterating the Jewish state and what it represents. The so-called Palestinian people whose entity suddenly appeared when the arch-terrorist Yassir Arafat and his ilk came to Israel from Tunis and the rabid and anti-semitic Palestinian propaganda machinery that ensued claiming their right to the entire Palestine as their legal patrimony, are all working together in harmony to eliminate Israel’s existence.

The pressure that is put on Israel to go through dismemberment and make peace with proven terrorists is not only due to anti-semitism; we also have to acknowledge that the Arab world which occupies 22 countries and controls the largest reserves of natural oil, also comes into play.  But Jew-hatred is a deadly virus to be reckoned with; it has caused atrocious genocide for many centuries and is again showing its ugly head even in the 21st century. It is evident that world leaders are conspiring through subterfuge and appeasement of the Arabs to destroy Israel even though they are cognizant of the fact that this tiny piece of land is the only democracy in the Middle East. They also know that in spite of its defensive wars against Arab armies bent on its destruction, Jews have managed to be among the world leaders in medical, scientific and technological breakthroughs contributing to the well-being of the world at large. Yet, it appears that these wise leaders, including self-hating Jews are concocting a harmful peace with Israel’s enemies whose charter of destroying Israel has not been and will never be amended.

The universality of renewed anti-semitism can be attested by recent events, the most striking of which has appeared recently in the Swedish media accusing Jewish soldiers of snatching young Palestinian organs for transplantation. This anti-semitic canard which depicts Jews as ritual murderers brings to mind the medieval accusations portrayed in Chaucer’s “Prioress’s Tale” claiming that Jews used the blood of young Christian children to bake their Passover matza (unleaved bread). Just this week, the former President Carter and author of his biased book calling Israel an apartheid state, is joining other illustrious Jew bashers such as Desmond Tutu who calls for international campaigners to treat Israel as they treated apartheid South Africa, and Mary Robinson who allowed the Durban conference to become a global platform for Israel venting. This “respectful” trio who call themselves “the elders” reminiscent of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” are campaigning to impose peace unilaterally through the Quartet, without Israel.

World leaders’ gagged and blindfolded strategy of schmoozing with terrorists and appeasing the Arab street by imposing a dangerous peace treaty between Israel and a terrorist entity, are shooting themselves in the foot, since their Machiavellian stratagem will imperil not only Israel, but also the rest of the world. Moreover, global anti-semitism at these times, as opposed to the Nazi years, will only benefit Israel by attracting millions of Jews to Israel’s shores, fulfilling biblical prophesies of the ingathering of the exiles and the eventual redemption. Peace in the Middle East will only come through a higher power and not through the imposition of leaders who only look after their own interests.

UN 225x300 THE U.N.’s SCAPEGOAT SYNDROMEFresh news substantiates my earlier essay on the U.N.’s flagrant and obsessive bias towards the State of Israel. This time, to continue the trend of relentless Israel bashing, a report was written by Navi Pillay, the new High Commissioner for Human Rights and substitute of Marie Robinson, equally, a vicious anti-Israel promoter. As you may know, the U.N. Human Rights Council is controlled by Arabs and their allies and is apparently given free reign by the U.N. Chief, Ban Ki-moon to perpetuate vilification and isolation of Israel, a sovereign and democratic country. Furthermore, Israel is the only country in the world that is not eligible to sit on the Security Council. This situation violates the principle of the “sovereign equality of all member states” of the U.N. under Article 2 of the U.N. Charter. This new Human Rights’ report accuses Israel of “grave violations of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian territories, particularly due to the recent Israeli military attacks against the occupied Gaza Strip.”

I beg to analyze this so-called utterly institutionalized bias and deliberate “Human Rights” claim. When you realize that Syria can be a member of the Security Council and when the U.N. Commissioner can be appointed by Lybia’s Ghaddafi, you may question whether this U.N. body is indeed exercising honorable and impartial edicts. The word “occupation” is mentioned twice in just two liners. The first one accuses Israel of human rights abuses in the “Occupied” Palestinian territories. The U.N. deliberately ignores the fact that Judea and Samaria, now substituted by the term “West Bank” was under the cruel and unauthorized control of Jordan, not a sovereign Palestinian entity. In addition, this organization is actually using double standards by conferring legitimacy to despots and terrorists and deliberately ignoring Israel’s inherent right to security and self-defense.  Moreover, the word “occupation” is illicit since the U.N.’s Security Council 242 was never promised to a State of Palestine, since it never existed. And, how can the Arab leadership now claim that Israel should conform to UN 194, 242, and/or 338, when the Arabs then rejected these resolutions and expressed their rejection in war and terrorism? The second mention of “occupation” by the U.N. Commissioner refers to the military attacks against the “occupied” Gaza Strip. The U.N. premeditatedly ignores the 2005 unilateral disengagement from Gaza, an area which has become an enclave of terrorism, Hamastan, whose goal is to annihilate the Jewish State.

To add salt to the wound, the U.N. High Commissioner, accuses Israel of harming unarmed civilians through the blockade of Gaza and of the illegality of the security barrier, inevitable deterrents that have successfully reduced the spate of terrorist attacks against innocent Israeli civilians by over 98%. This report unapologetically and blatantly violates Israel’s inherent rights to defend its citizens against terrorists who are plentiful and waiting to strike from both Fatah’ and Gaza’s terrorist infrastructures.

This writer, and I imagine that those who care for justice and unbiased resolutions among all nations, wonders whether the U.N. is an impartial peace-keeping institution whose legacy is designed to resolve conflicts, or is it a racist, prejudicial and politically opportunistic vehicle whose aim is to isolate and undermine Israel, a member state, just because the majority of its members belong to Arab and third world or ex-communist countries who use oil as a weapon and dictate the international arena?

We need to proclaim loud and clear that the U.N. Commission denies Israel due process and equality under the law. This flagrant and overt bias against Israel affects all citizens of the world since it is a violation of the quality principles guaranteed by the UN charter and cripples the functioning of the UN Commission on Human Rights. For this reason, the U.N. as a whole lacks credibility and integrity and warrants an urgent overhaul before claiming to profess “to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights.”

DOES ANYONE REALLY CARE?

False handshakeSince the Oslo accords, the governments of Israel and the U.S. under different prime ministers and Presidents have unsuccessfully tried to reach peace with the bogus Palestinian entity. I mention the epithet “bogus” because, as I have related in previous essays, the English term “Palestinian” which is not an Arab name, was shrewdly invented for political purposes by the Arabs right after the birth of the State of Israel in 1948 and it became even more prominent and globalized after the arch-terrorist Arafat was brought from Tunis to the shores of Israel by a pathetic government headed by Peres, Barak and Yiitzhak Rabin in 1992 leading to a policy of land-for-peace, which remains in effect to this day.

Of some interest to those of you who may not know this, the so-called “Palestinians” are not natives of Israel, but Arabs who migrated from neighboring Arab countries in 1918.  The name “Palestina” is a Latin-Roman name based on the Hebrew Biblical name of the ancient “Philistines” — “Plishtim” in Hebrew. The Philistines are extinct since approximately 2,000 years ago, and have no ancestral or historical relationship to Arabs. During the British mandate, the local Arabs never referred to themselves as “Palestinians,” but “Arabs.” So there is no ethnical, cultural or language history that could be attributed to the present so-called “Palestinians.” In fact, before the birth of the State of Israel, Jews were referred to as Palestinians. If you would bother searching history and encyclopedias, you will not find an Arabic name for Palestinian. Thus, “Palestinian” people have never existed as an autonomous entity.

Yet, in spite of indisputable historical facts, the very successful propaganda concocted by the Arabs to turn a phony culture and nation of Palestinian Arabs into a dismal fact has been accepted by the world of nations oblivious of Arab hostility, and reluctantly swallowed through intense pressure by successive Israel governments.  The Arabs will never recognize Israel as a sovereign Jewish nation, nor will they agree to partition the land into two states and “live in peace and security,” as echoed by Western nations ad nauseam. The Arabs are actually engaged in a religious war against Israel and their only raison d’etre is the annihilation of the Jewish state to be replaced by their own 23rd Arab Islamic entity. Importantly, their ultimate ambition is to own not just the Land of Israel in its entirety (as illustrated in their own maps), but especially Jerusalem and the Temple Mount because they know that these holy sites symbolize religion, history, home and future of the Jewish people throughout the world.

As long as the Western world’s pressure on Israel continues to ignore the false Palestinian revisionist and false accounts and their interest lies in placating the Arab world rather than justice, historical accuracy and ethical truth, no parade of political advisors and emissaries to the Land of Israel will ever achieve peace in this troubled small corner of the world, and all wheeling and dealings will come to naught as it has in the past because the fate of Israel as a nation is to be eternal and a light to the nations as prophesied several times in the Jewish Scriptures.

SOLANA’S LAST GIFT

solana 300x296 SOLANA’S LAST GIFTIt seems that the top diplomat of the European Union, Javier Solana, insists on leaving an offensive vestige on his obsessive courtship toward a two-state solution in the Land of Israel before his retirement. As you are probably aware, Solana has made headlines this week when he gave a speech in London in which he said that if an agreement between Israel and the Arab Palestinians did not come to fruition, that the United Nations should unilaterally enforce the two-state “solution” to the conflict including borders, refugees, and Jerusalem.
It takes a lot of chutzpah to make such an absurd statement to the world about a sovereign country such as Israel. I should retort to Solana who is a Spaniard, that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Meaning, Israel could also ask that the UN Security Council recognize the independent state of Basque in Spain, since for many years ETA (similarly to the PLO) has used terrorism and violence in a political war against the government in Madrid. But it is not proper to meddle in other countries’ internal affairs and Solana should know better.
It is obvious to this writer that Solana’s behavior throughout the years as Chief of the European Union and the hypocrisy that he has shown and continues to show vis-à-vis Israel is not suspected of being pro-Israeli. As a diplomat of this stature, Solana made the most stupid and credulous statements that anyone could imagine; for example, he insisted in an interview with the then Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, that it was “not impossible” for Hamas to change and “recognize the existence of Israel,” and that Hamas wants to “liberate the Palestinians, not to destroy Israel.” According to his words, he appears to be oblivious to the culture of terror that represents Hamas. Hamas refers to any town in Israel as an “illegal settlement.” Its declared aim is to destroy Israel. Hamas has proudly endorsed, initiated and sent numerous suicide murderers into Israeli buses, supermarkets, shopping malls, weddings and other crowded places. The Hamas media, and especially its independent TV station, carry daily children programs (including programs for kindergarten age) depicting the Jews (and not only the Israelis) as pigs, dogs, scum of the earth and creatures that must be killed. I could go on and on, but it seems that all of these “deeds” are inconsequential to Solana.
Solana also carelessly declared that the construction of the security fence was a bad idea for Israel when this so-called “wall” has prevented over 95% of suicide bombers since its erection in 2002. This should teach you that Solana does not have any notion of what Jihad or Hamas stands for. In fact, he seems to also ignore Hamas’ charter stating that “so-called peace solutions and international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement.
I would like to say to Solana without any hesitation “Solana, your contributions to Israel are contrary to what you would do in your own country; your diplomatic hypocrisy vis-à-vis Israel is so apparent that your departure from the scene is indeed a cause for celebration.” Solana’s last statement before his retirement about the UN enforcing a two-state solution down the throat of Israel, in view of his past suspicious Israeli political agenda, has already been dismissed as dangerous by those in Government whose heads are in the right place for the time being.

WHERE IS JUSTICE?

BIOTERRORISM AND NUCLEAR THREATSAs I have written in previous essays, unfortunately the world continues its dangerous path of unremitting deterioration. In spite of the long-lasting consequences of genocide and mass atrocities committed in Rwanda, Albania, Bosnia, Armenia and of course the Holocaust, the citizens of the world have not yet learned its lessons of history and the leaders of the so-called Free World unwisely continue to appease and make pacts with countries who promulgate hatred, and threaten the world with nuclear warheads and biological weaponry. We are living in the 21st century, and just as cells in our bodies talk to each other in a disciplined and orderly fashion to keep us alive and operational, when cell-cell communication is threatened, adverse consequences ensue in the form of disease. Similarly, although the revolution in information technology has allowed instant communication meant to bring peoples and cultures together, it is also turning into a powerful and virulent stage for debauchery, hatred and extremism with a direct link to terrorism and violence threatening the sanity of this world.

Every sound mind would admit that you cannot have peace and security in this turbulent world when there is no justice. Rather than punishing evil, the leaders of the world have instead rewarded and made pacts with them. Take for example, the arch-terrorist, Yasser Arafat, the instigator of terrorist plane hijackings and suicide bombers which have claimed thousands of lives. Not only the then Clinton administration elevated this terrorist to some type of international statesman, he was even awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, a mark of disgrace and embarrassment to the Nobel Committee. And recently, an invitation by the U.N. was extended to the Holocaust denier and dangerous tyrant, President Ahmadinejad to deliver from the UN podium a hateful and inciteful diatribe replete with lies to the world.

Presently, President Barack Hussein Obama is apologizing to the Islamic world and dictatorships for any wrongdoing that the Bush administration had done during his administration in the aftermath of the 9/11 massacre. He is also bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia in spite of its serial human right abuses especially as it pertains to women and the fact that 15 of the 19 terrorists who killed over 3,000 civilians in the U.S. originated from this country. Obama has also been looking for love in the wrong places such as offering very friendly gestures to dictators and autocrats such as Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad and the Ayatollahs of Iran.

Let’s not forget the tremendous amount of money that the Obama administration is also ready to award to terrorist entities such as the Palestinian authority and Hamas, including the U.S. training provided to members of the PA’s Force 17 which has been implicated by Israel in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist activities. And as I mentioned previously, lessons have not been learned and blunders continue to be committed and repeated to the detriment of Israel and the world.

By turning the other cheek to evildoers, justice will not prevail and is rather sending the wrong message to those committed to our annihilation; in fact, the continuous lack of wisdom and courage from our present leaders will strengthen and encourage those bad apples to wreck havoc to our societies and civilization, especially at these times when nuclear proliferation and chemical and biological weaponry ominously portend the greatest danger to our safety and peace in the world.

WILL NOT BUILDING AN EXTRA BATHROOM TEMPER ISLAMIC RAGE?

will not buildingIt is obvious that the world leaders’ fixation on stopping settlement activity in Judea and Samaria (real names of what they call the West Bank) prevail over disastrous and genocidal events taking place in our planet which have regional and global implications such as genocide in Afghanistan by the Taliban, the riots by the oppressive and theocratic regime in Iran, the humanitarian catastrophe in Darfur, the displacement of millions of refugees in N. Pakistan, the unrelenting nuclear proliferation in N. Korea and Iran, the Islamic race toward establishing shariah law throughout the world through force, and on, and on.  It is indeed very worrisome that our lives and freedom as human beings are in the hands of weak and unrealistic leaders who are bowing down to corruption and dictatorships such as the latest appeasement speech by Barak Hussein Obama to the Islamic world.

The greatest and most enduring fabrication of the past century is the Palestinian historical and cultural claims to the Land of Israel. Let me remind you that there was never a Palestinian state in Israel nor was there Palestinian language or culture in this land. In fact, prior to 1948, Jews were called Palestinians. Everyone seems to discard the important fact that this Palestinian claim never happened prior to the 1967 six-day Israel’s victory war. Never mind that the leaders of Europe and U.S. are completely ignoring this important fact, and that they are well aware that the Palestinian claims are a hoax. These leaders are either Pavlovian idiots or anti-Semites. In either case, Israel is receiving the brunt of the ills of the world by being pressured to split their tiny land with an entity that is bent on conquering it in stages. It is obvious that such a plan represents a death sentence to the survival of Israel. In fact, solving the Israel/Palestinian conflict will not pacify Islamic extremism in the world; it is just an excuse for continued incitement and a strategic goal of destroying freedom in the Western world and restoring Islamic caliphates globally.

There isn’t room between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean for two viable states to exist and it is a formula for economic decline and worsening warring conflicts. The conflict between the Palestinian authority/Hamas and Israel is not, as all leaders of the world claim as territorial, it is about ideology and the hatred that exists in the Arab world vis-a-vis the Jewish state.  No cessation of settlement construction leading to an Islamic Palestinian state will quash the thirst of the Islamic populace to destroy Jewish presence in the Middle East. The latest appeasement speech by Hussein Obama with its declaration that the U.S. will never be at war with Islam, will only strengthen the Islamic terrorists of the world to continue their fanatic and ultimate war against the West and their freedom values for all its citizens.

If settlement activity in Judea and Samaria represents or symbolizes the ills of the world, then everyone should breathe in relief. But unfortunately, all the incessant comings and goings of government leaders from Europe and the U.S. to subjugate Israel into stopping to build extra bathrooms in an established so-called settlement while ignoring real threatening extremist conflicts and warfare in other parts of the globe will not only strengthen and instill more confidence to terrorists, but hasten the prophesied clash of civilizations to take its toll in our times.

THE SAD PLIGHT OF GILAD SHALIT

gilad 180 115 eng THE SAD PLIGHT OF GILAD SHALITIt seems that the name of Israel’s captured soldier, Gilad Shalit, has gone to oblivion in the past few months and that very few in Israel’s cabinet is agonizing over his continued suffering. How shameful it is for the civilized world to allow such tragedy to happen. This soldier has been held for three years by a terrorist entity, Hamas, who purportedly will be receiving money from the U.S. to rebuild their destroyed Gaza. How can the U.S. and European leaders kowtow to a jihadist band of terrorists, a satellite of Iran, who have indiscriminately fired over 5,000 rockets to civilian population centers in Israel and use their own as human shield in war?

This genocidal terrorist group is keeping Gilad Shalit in a secret location, and since even the Red Cross is forbidden to visit him as stipulated by the Geneva Convention and international humanitarian law, for all we know, he may be dead. Hamas, as the ruling authority of the Palestinian government, is obligated to extend humane treatment to its prisoners. But what can you expect from a terrorist entity? However, Gilad is used as an expendable pawn bargaining chip by Hamas to secure the freedom of hundreds of terrorists with blood in their hands from Israel’s jails. But even if this deal were concluded, since Hamas is a vassal of Iran and Hezbollah, who can determine whether we will see a freed living Gilad, rather than a corpse, similarly to the heartbreaking trade of the dead soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, two Israeli soldiers captured by Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia within weeks of Shalit’s kidnapping.

For the past years, a huge campaign promoted by Gilad’s parents has been launched to demand the soldier’s release, but to no avail. The Hamas terrorist entity is dead-set in its intention to create psychological torture in the minds of Gilad’s parents, in order to get their demands actualized. There are two different camps in Gilad’s plight: those who are willing to free killers in exchange for Gilad dead or alive and those who oppose giving in to the terrorist demands. In the meantime, the situation has become so complex, that the name of this poor soldier has not been mentioned since the formation of the new government in Israel led by Bibi Netanyahu.

It could be that the right wing government of Israel may eventually allow the freedom of cynical killers and abide by Hamas’ demand since it will be used as a seeming victory and an incentive to new conscripts. Gilad Shalit was in the wrong place at the wrong time and ended up in the worst of terrorist’s hands. We all hope that this young man is still alive and that he will see his family and friends again.

But before leaving, he made sure to strongly endorse what the enemies of the Jewish state are eager to establish, a two-state solution which looking from a logical perspective, means a final solution. Pope Benedict is playing a hypocritical game with what he calls “his big brothers.” For two thousands of years, the Catholic Church has denounced the Jews whom they have persecuted, murdered, and massacred because they refused to recognize the Nazarene as their savior. Prior to the miraculous creation of the State of Israel in 1948, the Catholic Church had predicted the theological doctrine that the Jews were punished by God and doomed to be scattered throughout the world without a place to rest for eternity.

Now that the Jews have returned to their eternal homeland, the Church, embarrassingly, has been forced to recognize this 20th century miracle by recognizing the State of Israel as the Jewish homeland. This unpredictable situation is indeed in contradiction to the New Testament’s prophecy. However, even though Pope Benedict in his recent speech in Israel proclaimed that the Jews are their big brothers, he stopped short to pronounce the message and mission that the Jewish people are entitled to proclaim to the world. In fact, for the Catholic Church, the Jews are no longer the chosen ones, and the Jewish Scriptures are obsolete and replaced by the New Testament. The Christians are now the New Israel and God’s Jewish messengers and witnesses are to be replaced by the Holy Church. This is called by the Church “Replacement Theology.” Moreover, the main tenet of the replacement theology is that the only role left for the Jews is to convert to Christianity.

This Christian replacement theology has been compounded by the fact that even though the Church had no choice but to recognize Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people after 2,000 years of exile, and we have seen two different Popes’ visit Israel, Benedict made sure that this miraculous event was just a passing “incident” which will soon dissipate by his staunch pronouncement and support for a two-state solution. You may recall the support that the previous John Paul also bestowed to the arch-terrorist Arafat through several audiences while he was the PLO Chief.

The mindset behind this visit of Pope Benedict is that although Israel is temporarily a sovereign Jewish state in contradiction to the Church’s thousand years’ prediction to the contrary, that by endorsing a two-state solution, meaning carving an Arab-Islamist in the heart of Israel, that Israel will soon cease to exist giving way to the Church’s long-held predicament of Jewish continued suffering and wandering for eternity.

This essay is by no means a hateful message directed to the Catholic Church. What is written is sadly what has transpired recently in Israel through the Pope’s visit and declarations.  You would expect that due to the sad and horrific Jew hatred perpetrated by the Catholic Church in the past, that a Pope who represents over one billion adherents would abstain supporting a suicidal Islamic entity to be carved from the entrails of the State of Israel, which they know would mean the gradual slaughter and murder of Jews once again. In contrast, I also have to applaud and defend the millions of evangelical Christians who are staunch supporters of Israel as a Jewish State and opposed to a two-state solution.

Mark my words. The establishment of the State of Israel is no accident. It has been predicted in the Jewish scriptures for over three thousand years ago, including the ingathering of the Jewish tribes to Israel which is actually happening as we speak. Soon, in the forthcoming end of days, and in the words of Zechariah 8:23 “‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

christian jewish muslim 300x140 STRIPPING AWAY THE LANDThis really sounds like a sad joke, but it seems that Israel, as small as it is, is not only pressured by the world to carve a 23rd Arab State within its belly, but now to aggravate this stripping away, the visit of Pope Benedict XVI hinges on the demand by the Vatican to have control, or sovereignty if you wish, of six properties including Mt.Tabor, Capernaum and Mt. of Beatitudes on the North Kinneret shore as well as three churches. Lastly, and most importantly, the Vatican is also demanding control over the Last Supper Room in the Mt. Zion building that houses King David’s Tomb. This room is said to mark the burial site of Kings Solomon and Hezekiah.

Wouldn’t giving away property from Israel to others such as the Vatican in this case creates a precedent for other properties such as the Bahai Temple in Haifa, or the Russian compound to Russia? How about other religious sites of interest in other countries? Wouldn’t they also demand property rights and control? President Peres, the instigator of the “New Middle East” and the architect of the failed and suicidal Oslo accords, is pressuring the government of Israel to sign away these properties. What would giving away control of these sovereign territories mean to Israel? It would mean that whenever Israel desires to pave roads or lay electricity and other infrastructures within these properties, it will have to ask for the Vatican’s approval. In other words, Israel’s sovereignty will be replaced by some sort of dhimmitude, which to the Arab world translates into a conceding, surrendering and placating attitude.

To make matters worse, this precedent may indeed rock the entire house of Israel when you realize that there are many competing claims between various churches throughout the country. The Vatican has even threatened to call off the Pope’s visit if Israel does not cave in to their demand; to me, this warning sounds more like a threat. The Jewish people still have a bitter remembrance of the hostile Church’s history against the Jewish people, and I do not think that in accordance with the 1993 Vatican’s establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel, that the Vatican should have any reason to demand control of this property. After all, Israel is a sovereign democratic country which grants freedom of worship to all religions and the Christian institutions in Israel are sacrosanct, respected, safe and accessible to all Christians; so why demand sovereignty?

This writer is personally opposed to signing away to the Vatican’s demand. Due to the friendship expressed by the Pope and the Vatican for the past decade, this writer cannot fathom the reason why Israel should forfeit its jurisdiction, especially of Mt. Zion to the Vatican. The infrastructure claimed by the Vatican is a Jewish area just a few hundred yards from the Temple Mount, and the status quo should not be changed since signing it away would make it irreversible to ever reclaim it.

It seems to this writer, and this is just my opinion, that the leaders of other faiths such as Christian and Islam’s main purpose is to destabilize the Jewish People’s ownership over its sacred sites and rid the Temple Mount and the Old City of exclusive Jewish sovereignty. The Sanhedrin asserts that the representatives of the State of Israel can represent the Jewish Nation as long as they act in accordance with its traditions and laws, and are not authorized to transfer the ownership, or authority over, lands and properties in the Land of Israel to any foreign religious or political element, thus Peres and those in the Israeli government who are ready to concede strategically religious property away are not the sole owners of this land and thus should not dispose of it at will without the approval of the Jewish citizens in Israel and the Diaspora.
