Since the Oslo accords, the governments of Israel and the U.S. under different prime ministers and Presidents have unsuccessfully tried to reach peace with the bogus Palestinian entity. I mention the epithet “bogus” because, as I have related in previous essays, the English term “Palestinian” which is not an Arab name, was shrewdly invented for political purposes by the Arabs right after the birth of the State of Israel in 1948 and it became even more prominent and globalized after the arch-terrorist Arafat was brought from Tunis to the shores of Israel by a pathetic government headed by Peres, Barak and Yiitzhak Rabin in 1992 leading to a policy of land-for-peace, which remains in effect to this day.
Of some interest to those of you who may not know this, the so-called “Palestinians” are not natives of Israel, but Arabs who migrated from neighboring Arab countries in 1918. The name “Palestina” is a Latin-Roman name based on the Hebrew Biblical name of the ancient “Philistines” — “Plishtim” in Hebrew. The Philistines are extinct since approximately 2,000 years ago, and have no ancestral or historical relationship to Arabs. During the British mandate, the local Arabs never referred to themselves as “Palestinians,” but “Arabs.” So there is no ethnical, cultural or language history that could be attributed to the present so-called “Palestinians.” In fact, before the birth of the State of Israel, Jews were referred to as Palestinians. If you would bother searching history and encyclopedias, you will not find an Arabic name for Palestinian. Thus, “Palestinian” people have never existed as an autonomous entity.
Yet, in spite of indisputable historical facts, the very successful propaganda concocted by the Arabs to turn a phony culture and nation of Palestinian Arabs into a dismal fact has been accepted by the world of nations oblivious of Arab hostility, and reluctantly swallowed through intense pressure by successive Israel governments. The Arabs will never recognize Israel as a sovereign Jewish nation, nor will they agree to partition the land into two states and “live in peace and security,” as echoed by Western nations ad nauseam. The Arabs are actually engaged in a religious war against Israel and their only raison d’etre is the annihilation of the Jewish state to be replaced by their own 23rd Arab Islamic entity. Importantly, their ultimate ambition is to own not just the Land of Israel in its entirety (as illustrated in their own maps), but especially Jerusalem and the Temple Mount because they know that these holy sites symbolize religion, history, home and future of the Jewish people throughout the world.
As long as the Western world’s pressure on Israel continues to ignore the false Palestinian revisionist and false accounts and their interest lies in placating the Arab world rather than justice, historical accuracy and ethical truth, no parade of political advisors and emissaries to the Land of Israel will ever achieve peace in this troubled small corner of the world, and all wheeling and dealings will come to naught as it has in the past because the fate of Israel as a nation is to be eternal and a light to the nations as prophesied several times in the Jewish Scriptures.

The pressure on Israel continues unabated and even worse than it has been in the past decade. Recently, there was an announcement by the Arab League that if Israel complies with the suicidal Saudi plan that all 57 Muslim states will recognize Israel; mind you, not Israel as a Jewish state, of course. We know what peace means with Muslim countries. Even though Israel has a peace treaty with Egypt, this was a much easier conflict to resolve than with a bogus Palestinian terrorist entity which did not exist prior to 1964, courtesy of the arch-terrorist Arafat. Peace with Israel and Egypt concerned territory, the Sinai, which actually belonged to Egypt prior to the 1967 war. This land actually is not physically within Israel proper. Even so, Middle East expert, Daniel Pipes, regards the Israel-Egypt peace treaty a failure. In fact, Pipes reports that 92% of respondents in a poll of one thousand Egyptians over 18 years of age called Israel an enemy state.
With the phony Palestinian authority, Israel is, without mincing words, threatened by major world players to dismantle Judea, Samaria, Gaza and East Jerusalem from its sovereign state and to make this territory Jew-free, which means casting out hundreds of thousands of Jews from their homes and businesses to become refugees in their own land. Unfortunately, political and intellectual leaders of the Free world lack wisdom and integrity and they only care for their own interests such as uninterrupted sources of cheap oil and political appeasement of Arab countries which number over a billion compared to the measly 13 million Jews. Making any type of deal with such entities such as Hamas and Fatah is a no-win situation. I beg someone to understand what the mentality of these people we are supposed to make peace with is all about. First, in spite of the billions of dollars given to them for the past decade, there hasn’t been any constructive economic or social development, and no vision to create proper institutions and infrastructures for a viable state. Why? Because the prime objective of these Islamist entities is inherent in sharia and jihadist Koranic laws and the defeat of infidels, prominently Jews and Christians.
Rather than being coerced into a two-state final solution, the Netanyahu administration is bringing a proposal to be presented to Barak Hussein Obama on May 18th, 2009 which is a stratagem to avert the suicidal final solution demanded by all leaders. However, given the track record of the large amount of funds given to the PLO in previous occasions, this option, if approved by Obama, will undoubtedly fail on its face. As in the past, any monies meant to build proper infrastructures for a viable Palestinian state will end up instead being used to build cannons and weapons of destruction. The indoctrination of children in these societies to become suicide bombers and to kill Jews for the past decades will not abate with either monies or another Islamic state in Israel. In fact, a Palestinian state within Israel will facilitate and expedite the Jihadist’s goal of controlling all of Israel’s borders for total annihilation.
Mr. Netanyahu does not have to bring alternatives such as building economies to the terrorist entities to Obama. He should remember that he represents not only Jews living in Israel but also those in the Diaspora. He should stand firm to abolish any hint of creating a terrorist state within Israel, explain and educate the U.S. Leaders of the danger inherent in committing such activity, and either continue the alliance with the U.S. on Israel’s terms or leave to govern the Jewish state on its own, which is an ideal alternative, given the circumstances.

I believe that since Israel won the miraculous 1967 Six-day war against Arab countries, its successive governments have consistently failed to safeguard its population and have in fact aggravated the terrorist threats that have produced so many deaths and maimed Jews throughout the subsequent years. One major cause for this failure has been the secularization of the different governments of Israel who believe that Israel’s survival is dependent on kowtowing to the Western world’s tragic demands, and on turning Israel into a post-Zionist country which will emulate Europe. The same tragic mistake occurred when Jews in Germany tried to assimilate.
It has now been proven, that the policies of the past and of the recent leaders of Israel have turned into a nightmarish life for its citizens and is endangering Israel’s survival. The major flaw by these so-called Jewish leaders originated with the unnatural welcoming of the arch-terrorist Arafat to Israel’s shores from Tunis together with his entire ilk, including Abbas. This was followed by the deviant signed Oslo Accord in September 13, 1993 between Arafat and Rabin in the presence of its architect, Peres and the then U.S. President Clinton outlining Palestinian self-government, and followed by another agreement in 1995 that provided the Palestinians with even more self-government powers. What did Israel get in return? Not much; just a piece of paper signed by the hypocritical two-tongued terrorist Arafat, pledging recognition of Israel and renouncing violence. Ironically, this arch-terrorist was entrusted by the Israeli leaders to protect them from terrorism! Unfortunately, Jericho, one of Israel’s most venerated cities, was surrendered to the PLO in addition to the equally holy city of Hebron and the self-governing power in Judea and Samaria (now called by the world as West Bank). What transpired afterwards was the most catastrophic failure of any Israeli government: the second intifada which caused hundreds of Israeli deaths, and thousands of injuries.
The next Israeli government’s blunder was the failed second Lebanon war which was triggered by Israel’s embarrassing retreat (ordered by Barak) from Lebanon under the darkness of night in the summer of 2006. This blunder empowered Hezbollah, a satellite of Iran. This stupidity was again repeated by yet the most brainless and insane complete withdrawal from Gaza and the expulsion of over 8,000 Jews from their homes and businesses. This unilateral withdrawal has turned Gaza into an enclave of Jew hating arch-terrorists, funded and trained by Iran, which is now called “Hamastan.” The Israeli leaders governing Israel, in addition to the Israeli media and its left-wing academics, are so weak and credulous that they believe that by withdrawing from land, that terrorism would abate. Blunder after blunder by our leaders has only produced even more terrorism and insecurity. Will they never learn?
To aggravate matters even further, our ineffective and weak government is mulling over a plan to give up East Jerusalem, including our most venerated site, the Temple Mount and create a Palestinian terrorist state in the belly of Israel. After so many tragic mistakes committed by the secular and accommodating Israeli leaders of Israel, one wonders what it would take to turn things around so that Israel can finally stand proudly on its own two feet and reject more unreasonable demands by the U.S. and Europe designed for Israel’s annihilation. We need leaders who believe in the words of the Hebrew Scriptures which call for a courageous redeemer that would have the faith and resolute mind that King David had. In the words of Jeremiah: “Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.” Ironically, if the U.S. and Europe abandon Israel, it will instead work to Israel’s benefit.

Israel is not just threatened by terrorist armies and Islamist countries; even more dangerous is the menace and pressure perpetrated by the world community, prominently, the U.S., Europe, quartet, the U.N., the media, NGOs, Human Right organizations, self-hating Jews, anti-Semites; I am certain I am forgetting something else, but at least the list above sadly exposes what the Jewish nation is up to, and it is getting worse by the minute.
Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is set to meet with the new U.S. President, Barak Hussein Obama, on May 18th, 2009 so that he can sell his prudent policy vis-à-vis Israel and the Palestinian entity. It is going to be a hard sell, since we can witness right on that Obama is moving ahead full speed on all Middle East tracks by turning 180o from previous U.S. administration policies with its enemies. In fact, as you all well know, he is planning to use failed diplomatic overtures to terrorist entities such as Hamas and fanatical Islamist countries like Iran, Syria and Lebanon. With Hamas, as I wrote in my previous essay, he is already engaging with this terrorist entity and is requesting U.S. taxpayers to award over $800 million dollars for Gaza’s reconstruction and “human relief” after the Cast Lead war. If this is authorized by Congress, I’ll bet you, as in the past that less than 10% will go to these causes, and the rest for weapons, and terrorist bellicose activities, of course to the detriment of Israel.
Obama just met with King Hussein of Jordan, who is also actively pursuing Israel’s demise to avoid being flooded with millions of hostile Palestinians to his shores. In turn, Obama is concocting a master plan for King Hussein to convince the Arab countries to reword or soften the 2002 ominous Saudi Plan so that Israel can fall for it. He also has the audacity of setting up the de facto division of Jerusalem by imposing a Fatah flag in Jerusalem neighborhoods while asking the Arabs to comply with Israel’s flag. How ignorant (or is he?)! Even more aggravating, Obama is also planning to ask Israel to give up on its nuclear arsenal, thus leaving Israel at the mercy of surrounding terrorist armies.
Obama’s energies have no bounds, it seems, with his plan to expedite Israel’s demise. Obama is also planning to flirt with President Assad from Syria who is actively engaged with Iran and houses and shields terrorist entities such as Hamas and Hezbollah, and has been conducting testing of chemical weapons. This writer wonders what is causing this abrupt policy shift in the White House. The new President is naively thinking (or is he, after all he is no dummy) that the troubled Middle East and Arab hostility in general is due to Israel’s intransigence against implacable Jew hating terrorists swearing for Israel’s demise and he is pushing Israel’s back against the wall by stripping it of its holiest sites, strategic land, and nuclear deterrence, rendering the Jewish state in a sorry and indefensible position.
Due to space restrictions, I would urge you to read my previous essays on this subject: “The clock is ticking fast,” “the U.S. setting the path to disaster” and “Look at reality stupid,” and others. To summarize, malevolent forces are rushing, courtesy of Obama and the world community, to stab Israel in the back. However, if this nefarious situation takes place, nuclear proliferation, starting with Iran, is certainly going to radiate a long shadow on America and the nations of the world. There is an eminent countdown and its repercussion will be a changing world unless the forces of evil are defeated swiftly.

Myth of Occupation
This essay is an important complement to the one published in February, 2009. Several words have been used by the media and even by Israel’s far left and post-zionist individuals vis-à-vis Israel’s defensive conflicts, especially the still unchallenged term “occupation.” No matter how many people are slaughtered in cafes, pizza parlors, buses and hotels, and the incessant rocket attacks against civilians in the South, the word “occupation,” seems to take center stage as an apologetic excuse for despicable massacres with an accomplice world. This word goes hand-in-hand with terms such as “freedom fighters” and “resistance.”
For those of you who are still clinging to the word “occupation” for lack of historical knowledge, Palestine has never existed as a sovereign state before Israel’s defensive “Six Day war” in 1967 or even when the State of Israel was created in 1948. Indeed, Resolution 242, highly proclaimed by all Arab states, does not promise a State of Palestine. In 1948, following the War of Independence against five Arab countries, the so-called West Bank (Judea and Samaria) was illegally controlled by Jordan, and Gaza by Egypt. However, the Arab countries did not lift a finger to create a Palestinian state in these territories. After Israel’s unexpected and miraculous victory against warring Arab states in 1967, there was no sovereign entity to which the territories gained by Israel could be returned. Moreover, the idea of Palestinian self-determination did not emerge until after the 1967 war.
What is the origin of the word “Palestine?” For starters, prior to 1948, Arabs and Jews were called Palestinians. Two thousand years ago, the Roman Empire under Hadrian named Israel Palestine, and the Greeks and Romans called it Palastina, not an Arabic name. Currently, the Arabs pronounce it as “Falastin”, an imaginary entity, never a nation or state.
It is also worth mentioning a very important fact: the PLO, under Arafat, was founded in 1964, three years prior the 1967 war. Thus, which “occupied” territories did the PLO try to recover? It is plainly obvious that it is not just the liberation of Judea and Samaria, but of the entire land of Israel. The Oslo accords which calls for “land for peace” and the “Road Map” leading to a two-state solution “living peacefully side by side with Israel,” is a suicide pact meant to severely threaten the very existence of the Land of Israel.
The new liberal Obama administration and its Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, compounded by the UK, the EU and the UN have already initiated their relentless pressure on Israel to withdraw from land which would mean uprooting many thousands of Jewish families from their homes and carve in their place a terrorist enclave eager to exterminate what they falsely claim is their land, a suicidal pact.
