FATAH – THE PRAISED PEACE PARTNER

The Fatah party’s sixth General Assembly conference in August 4th, 2009 in its first day of session has turned into a theater of hate toward Israel. After a 20-year lull since its last one, 2,000 delegates gathered in Bethlehem with the original purpose of adopting a new platform and re-elect Fatah’s two main decision-making bodies. However, rather than abiding to their business plan, indescribable accusations against the Jewish State were de rigueur. For starters, Mahmoud Abbas, hailed by the international community as the “moderate” peace partner, stressed and reaffirmed in his opening speech that the Palestinians will never recognize Israel as a Jewish State, his refusal to have any type of peace talks with Israel unless they witness a halt of settlement building in Jerusalem and the “occupied West Bank,” and the undeniable right of Palestinian refugees to flood Israel’s shores. He even threatened “legitimate armed resistance” in case of failure with the so-called “peace” talks.
The spouting of violence by the leader of Fatah and his refusal to accept Israel’s Jewishness is to be expected, especially in view of Barack Obama’s encouraging speech in Cairo and his renewed call for settlement freeze during his recent trip to Germany. Were Israel to heed to Obama’s calls, it would entail the removal of over 450,000 Jews from Judea and Samaria, including Jerusalem, the holiest city to Jews worldwide. If this suicidal and drastic move demanded by the U.S. and of course Europe were to occur to placate the Arab world, it would leave Israel’s military borders completely indefensible and Israel would live with neighbors whose society inculcate to his youngsters from a tender age to hate Jews and to negate Israel’s legitimacy and its 3,500 historical rights to the land. Israel’s continued refusal to abide to the so-called “Auschwitz borders” has even been echoed by a prominent military expert, Lt.-Gen. Thomas Kelly, director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the 1991 Gulf War, who said: “It is impossible to defend Jerusalem unless you hold that high ground in Judea-Samaria.”
So, in the view of this writer, unless Israel agrees to commit this suicidal path under the relentless pressure from the U.S.-led West, President Abbas as explicitly articulated in his keynote speech in Bethlehem would, in compliance with the international community, make life unbearable for the Jews through terrorist campaigns following the strategy of his late boss, Yassir Arafat (although this time Abbas’ security forces are highly trained by American Lt.-Gen. Keith Dayton). In fact, as explicitly quoted by the PA leadership since its inception, “peace is a means; the goal is Palestine.”
Fast forward, the Fatah-sponsored Bethlehem conference which could also be named “Durban III,” in its second day of session, continued its hateful rhetoric against the Jewish State by also accusing Israel of being responsible for the “assassination” of Arafat who died in 2004. They even called for an international inquiry into this matter. The rest of the session finally focused away from debasing Israel with the eruption of a stormy debate among the delegates since they were unable to resolve other important issues such as new elections.
In their rather intentional myopic view, the Western world leaders are probably showing deep disappointment especially after maintaining ad nauseam that Fatah is the only mainstream Palestinian supporter of a peaceful compromise with Israel. It seems that the ghost of Arafat continues to hover over the heads of Obama, the international community and the Fatah movement to pressure Israel to abandon its rights as a sovereign country and to commit genocidal paths. Earlier Israel’s leaderships had an incredible history of causing terrible damage to Israel’s security and legitimacy. Hopefully, either the newly elected government of Israel or a future wise leader will arise to fulfill Israel’s undeniable biblical destiny. In the meantime, let the debate among Israel’s sworn enemies continue and let the world watch how their “moderate” pick for peace with Israel lives up to their own standards.

ONCE A VASSAL, ALWAYS A VASSAL

This writer believes that Jews continue to retain some degree of the submissive, complacent and obedient mentality inherited from their forefathers thousands of years ago while in slavery during the Pharaonic period, and not too long ago when they were expelled and massacred from country to country throughout their Diaspora culminating into the most horrendous mass killings under the Nazi regime.
Presently, although the Jews have managed to build an independent democratic nation, Israel, and a strong army and economy, they are still showing signs of submissiveness and subjugation to the rather strange and punitive demands from several U.S. administrations, especially that of Barak Hussein Obama. This type of “idolization” vis-à-vis the most powerful nation on earth appears to emulate prior Jewish submissive behaviors which culminated in their own tragedy. When Barack Obama is taking a tough and demanding stance to have Israel refrain from building for natural growth, tear down the Jerusalem wall, stop building illegal settlements, especially in Jerusalem, the undivided capital of the State of Israel, you know that this behavior is intended to placate the Arab street at the expense of the once again “sacrificial lamb.” Ironically, it is not just the U.S. who is telling Israel how to govern, the French President, Sarkozy, echoed the U.S. by urging Israel to stop building Jewish settlements and even had the chutzpah to request that Netanyahu sack his foreign minister.
All Israeli governments have shown signs of submissiveness by taking enormous risks to obey the international community’s demands, starting with the dangerous peace processes of Oslo, Taba, the Camp David, Gaza, etc., etc., that gave the Palestinians autonomy without quid pro quo for Israel except terrorism, incitement and Jihad which has claimed thousands of Jewish lives. Amazingly, the more Israel has ceded and extended its hand for peace, the more it has been globally demonized, delegitimized and scorned.
The Israeli leadership rather than taking courageous and justified steps like any other sovereign country would in the world to stop what has become an absurd situation that threatens the Jewish people with the loss of their indisputable rights to their one and only land, has instead been courting the U.S. and the international community by even offering on several occasions in a silver platter over 98% of land in Judea and Samaria with land swaps, including Judaism’s most venerated and holiest of sites, the Temple Mount by such previous Prime Ministers as Barack and Olmert. All of these peace overtures have miraculously been rejected by the PA because it did not include the return of the Palestinian refugees to Israel, a strategy to demographically destroy the Jewish state.
Jewish submissiveness to the modern Pharaoh, Obama, will only bring disaster and eventually the demise of the Jewish State. Jews seem to have a short memory when thinking that the U.S. looks after Israel’s interest. You may recall for instance the American inaction against the British government to repudiate the malevolent White Paper to restore the Jews of Europe and gain refuge in their homeland. Israel should be governed by a leadership that takes pride in its Jewish history, culture and God-mandated eternal heritage of the Land of Israel in its entirety. Bowing to the U.S. and the international community’s demands to partition the land with enemies bent on Israel’s destruction will create a dangerous and deadly situation not only for Israel but for Jews throughout the world.

ISRAEL’S LOSS THROUGH U.S. BRIBERY
February 24, 2009 by yipbop · Leave a Comment
It is a sad reality and a shame that Israel’s well being and future hinges on the U.S.’s good auspices. America is the only country in the world, so-called Israel’s strongest ally, who can deliver to the terrorists through Israel’s pressure. The billions of dollars that the U.S. delivers to Israel for its security and defense are presently questionable, depending on whether Israel complies with several U.S. demands. These include continuing negotiations based on the Road Map, freezing settlement construction, even for natural growth and ultimately expelling hundreds of thousands of Jews from their homes to make room to a Jew-free Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.
If the above statements do not represent bribery, what is it? This Road Map, of course, is carried out with the Palestinian Authority, i.e., Mahmoud Abbas and his ilk which represent the PLO. This entity is not an honest broker for a peace agreement. In fact, even in their covenant and map, Israel is an occupying force of the entire Palestine and an obstacle to their prosperity and Islamic pretentions. We have seen what has happened to the lands that have been given to the PLO. Even our most venerated sacred sites like the tomb of Joseph was desecrated the moment we pulled out from this location.
It seems that Benjamin Netanyahu is going to be our next Prime Minister. The Western world does not seem very pleased with Israel’s choice. It is a right-leaning government just as the U.S. has suddenly swung back to its more liberal values under Barack Obama. With regard to the peace process, Netanyahu has proclaimed his own ideas in the form of economic track, and George Mitchell, the special US envoy, has already fired back by countering this proposal. The new Obama administration is now seeking to make peace with the Arab world. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? After all, who caused the 9/11 disaster?
Based on the last events that have taken place when Israel has withdrawn from territory, be it Lebanon or Gaza, the forces of evil, in fact Iranian proxies, are just waiting to take over whatever Israel will be pressured to give up, to endanger Israel with more sophisticated missiles that will be able to reach even Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion airport.
Let’s face it. The pressure that the U.S. is bringing about to Israel to withdraw from territory through bribery will bring the dissolution of Israel as a Jewish state. This pressure is a sinister process backed by the U.S. and Europe to recognize “Legitimate Palestinian Rights” which consist, in reality, the liberation of all of Palestine, which is, in effect, a UN sponsored lobby with the purpose of destroying a member state.
