I ACCUSE!

I accuseThe bashing of Israel since its birth in 1948 continues unabated especially in times when Israel had no choice but to defend itself against recalcitrant Arab enemies bent on its destruction. You may wonder, what is it with Israel whose contributions in health, biotechnology, agriculture, and the largest concentration of high-tech companies outside Silicon Valley, provokes so much hatred and unjust criticisms, unequal to any other country in the world? If it is about the bogus “occupation” It is certainly not for want that successive Israeli governments have tried in vain to reach peace with enemies who publicly avow Israel’s annihilation; in fact, no nation has made more concessions over the years to its arch enemies than Israel. I wonder just what method would be legitimate and acceptable to the international community when dealing with an enemy who will only accept wiping you off the face of the Earth? How much retaliation is necessary and/or justified? Ironically, it is worth mentioning that time and time again, throughout successive Israeli governments, in spite of Palestinian terror and incitement, each time Israel has conceded or retreated, especially after the 2005 disengagement from Gaza where over 10,000 Jews were thrown out of their homes and businesses, the world community reacted with even more incendiary criticism, heightened anti-semitism, scrutiny and condescension. So what is instigating this global loathing?

The strong bias and double-standards against Israel is becoming so bizarre, that I have come to the realization that those who are throwing these blanket accusations and wholesale blame against Israel have realized that if you aspire to become a great leader in the international community, gain friends throughout the world, and especially receive plenty of funding, all you’ll have to do is preach hatred and criticism towards the Jewish state. It is a risible advise, but one that works plenty. Just pick a few examples to substantiate this counsel – Yasser Arafat, the most prominent and diabolical terrorist leader of the past century, who pioneered airline hijacking and suicide bombers against civilians, enjoyed the status of some sort of statesman, was more invited by the then Clinton administration than any other world leader and was awarded the Nobel Prize! left wing organizations such as “J street” who is a haven for those who seek to censure Israel and campaign to discredit Israel’s self defense conflicts is warmly accepted by the Obama administration and is very well funded; and let’s not forget the Jewish high ranking leaders surrounding Obama such as Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Dan Shapiro, and the other good American Jews working with Obama as a fifth column; and lately, Obama’s shocking announcement of nominating Mary Robinson, the most vicious anti-Israel spokesman who presided over the UN’s notorious Durban conference in 2001, to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I reiterate what I said previously, and I believe this to be a sure-fire strategy: to elevate your standing in the global community a thousand-fold, and even receive large funds and bonuses, just start bashing Israel, denounce settlement activity and promulgate expulsion of settlers, become a partisan for Israel’s dismemberment and even annihilation, schmooze with terrorist organizations,  request for a Judenrein Palestinian state and the return of millions of Arab refugees to Israel, and use your influence to promote a weak Israel since according to the Jerusalem Post’s Carolyn Glick “Successive governments in Jerusalem, from the Rabin-Peres government to the Barak, Sharon and Olmert governments, all embraced the Arabist view that regional stability and hence Israeli security is enhanced by a weakened Israel.”

The good news for Israel is that the demonization of Israel has instilled a rising specter of anti-semitism especially across Europe unlike anything seen since World War II, and this alarming anti-semitic trend has prompted a big rise in the number of European Jewry immigrating to Israel, and I anticipate that this trend will increase exponentially, to fulfill Isaiah’s prophesy (11:12; 27:13; 56:8; 66:20) on the ingathering of the exiles.

SUCCUMBING TO WORLD PRESSURE

succumbing to world pressureWe have been witnessing for the past several decades the weaknesses of the successive Prime Ministers of Israel to comply with the U.S. and European demands of splitting this tiny land and share it not with friendly neighbors, but with extremist Islamic foes whose covenant explicitly calls for the destruction of Israel. The latest Prime Minister, Benyamin Netanyahu, from the so-called right wing bloc, under intense pressure, I must say, ended up legitimizing the mantra of the so-called two-state solution, albeit with preconditions in his latest speech, in other words, carving out a dejudeized Islamic Palestinian State within Israel’s most vulnerable borders, the so-called Auschwitz borders.

You may wonder why the world is again turning its back to Israel’s existence knowing full well that splitting the land with enemies such as the so-called Palestinians would endanger Israel’s survival. The new leader of the free world, President Barack Hussein Obama, adulated by the Israeli left, is leading the pack of socialists and liberals, to make the racist demands of having no Jews beyond the green lines. These authoritarian edicts originating from the U.S., a so-proclaimed “staunch ally of Israel,” spells out a calamitous dilemma for Israel. What has been intentionally omitted in most of these demands is that carving out a 23rd Islamic Palestinian state within the 1949 armistice lines necessitates the expulsion of more than 300,000 Jews from their homes and businesses, similarly to the 2005 Gush Katif “disengagement” but on a much larger scale.

We have witnessed what transpired after 8,000 Jews were thrown out of their homes and businesses in Gaza. Gaza was taken over by the extremist Islamic group, Hamas, who rather than taking advantage of the infrastructure left behind, including businesses and developed green houses, and millions of dollars from credulous donors, it became the enclave of other terrorist groups such as Al Qaida and Iranian proxies, and produced thousands of rockets which were fired at civilian populations in Southern Israel. Now imagine what would happen if Israel’s continued weak government under Netanyahu succumbs to the creation of a Palestinian state and the expulsion of a massive number of Jews from their homes and infrastructure. Do you really think that this “moderate” Palestinian leadership will just live in peace and security with Israel?

Taking into account the Palestinian charter calling for the destruction of Israel, the incitement, anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel in Palestinian school textbooks and the cultural glorification of “martyrs” and their deeds against Jews under the “moderate” Abbas, this Palestinian/Israel peace initiative that the world is pressuring Israel to abide to, is nothing other than a catalyst for Muslim territorial expansionism with genocidal consequences not only for Israel but for the world at large.

Israel is the only sovereign country in the world whose inalienable right to exist is being questioned thousands of times throughout the media and the world. However, you just have to witness that after 2,000 years, when the land of Israel was just a wasteland and the Jews were dispersed worldwide, no other people ever took roots or built a state in the land until Israel’s creation in 1948. Since then, Israel’s survival has been and continues to be tested after being continuously attacked by five modern, well equipped Arab armies, to no avail, because Israel miraculously defeated every war. Intriguingly, The Palestinian entity could have easily had their own state several times since 1948, however, this vision, as forcibly articulated by world leaders, has curiously never materialized. If you wonder why, you may surmise against all odds that Israel, as prophesied in the Jewish scriptures, has the Divine destiny to be the eternal and exclusive homeland of the Jewish people.

GAZA DISENGAGEMENT BLUNDER

shark 300x235 GAZA DISENGAGEMENT BLUNDERIn the quest for peace with our Arab neighbors, Israel’s 2005 forced evacuation, also called “disengagement,” of the 1,812 families living in Gush Katif in the Gaza strip continues to make news in all major Israeli newspapers.  Why?  Because most of these families, who were made homeless under the then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, remain without permanent living quarters, are living in temporary pre-fab quarters and are unemployed. In fact, these refugees in their own country, suffer psychological trauma, and are rightfully disappointed with the government’s promises.

In my book, it is indeed counterproductive to carry out a unilateral evacuation of Jewish families without getting anything in return. In fact, these Jewish individuals who had lived for decades in Gaza, had a good life, homes, jobs, factories, farms, greenhouses and businesses which they left behind in hopes that the so-called Palestinian neighbors would build a better life for themselves.  Ariel Sharon/Olmert/Livni’s mindset at that time was that ceding land to the Palestinians, would accomplish what the failed Oslo and other previous peace purported to do, i.e., land for peace.

What are the results of this violent and drastic uprooting of Jewish families carried out by Sharon? A total fiasco; where synagogues, houses, cemeteries and schools once proudly stood, it has been replaced by launching pads for terrorists’ missiles leading to the Cast Lead war. Most disturbingly, in June, 2007, two years after every single soldier and Jewish family left Gaza, Hamas took advantage of the situation to launch an armed revolt to oust the Fatah forces and take full control of the strip. Presently, there are two separate Palestinian entities, Hamas and Fatah, clashing with each other, none of which recognize Israel and both of which desire the eradication of the Jewish state.

Prior to the looming disengagement, many prayers took place asking God to stop the disengagement from Gaza, and these pleas were obviously unanswered. Now, after the fact, we can realize how counterproductive it was to cede land to terrorists, meaning the PLO and Hamas. Whenever Israel relinquishes land to terrorists like in Lebanon and Gaza, terrorism, rocket attacks, arm smuggling and kidnappings worsen. God wanted to give us a model of the upheaval that can be created by ceding any part of the Land of Israel. The pattern we see from Gaza where rockets attacks are terrorizing the citizens of the South, would seem like child play if Israel continues to foolishly accedes to surrender Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. In fact, relinquishing more land would leave Israel only nine miles wide at its most populated areas, and Hamas would have the ability to shoot down airplanes taking off and landing at Ben Gurion airport.

To summarize, Israel should not jeopardize its security to please those in the family of nations who purport that land for peace is the ultimate solution in this area. Obviously they are opting to disregard the clear danger facing Israel from all its borders as long as their countries are not involved in this conflict. The Gush Katif, Lebanon and other models in control of terrorists are God’s warnings against committing more blunders, and although the prayers from Gush Katif residents were not answered, it was for a more powerful cause and a precedent against future disengagements that would affect hundreds of thousands of Jews in this land. Obviously, not too many “settlers” would like to experience the disappointing model of life after disengagement of the Gush Katif families.
